Iceland

Iceland  is a republic-wide island of the same name and associated smaller islands. Iceland is located in the North Atlantic between Greenland and the British Isles, just south of the Arctic Circle. Despite this situation, the country has a milder winter climate than northern Sweden as gentle streams of water out past the island of North Atlantic operations, however, can be quite chilly summers and have a lot of precipitation.

Iceland is widely regarded as the world's oldest still active democracy. The Icelandic parliament has its roots in the things which were held in 930 at Thingvellir. Island in 2006, the world's highest living standards with a Human Development Index of 0.968, but decreased in the financial crisis of 2008.

With about 3 inhabitants / km ² is Iceland the least populated country in Europe
